Millionaire’s Vine (Cissus sicyoides)

Millionaire’s Vine (Cissus sicyoides) is an elongated, perennial vine that rises to a height of 6 to 10 m. All parts of the plant art odorless. The hot decoction of stems and leaves is taken as a remedy to relieve flu, also said to give good results against rheumatism. An aqueous extract from this plant was found to have hypoglycemic and anti-lipemic effects. Also, when Millionaire’s Vine’s tip is cut, pink parts sprout out.
